Finally, I'm off on my adventure, for real, no false starts! Heading down to my sister's in TX in a marathon drive over a day and a half.

Today I was supposed to be in Texas, visiting my sister for Christmas. Where am I instead? My parents' driveway. Why? You may ask.

Lift off is in a month (or less)! So, I decided that taking a weekend trip to a friend's place nearby would be prudent.

This summer, I came to realize that for the last few years I've not really been living, but simply existing. It's time for a change.
